Miracles of Rasam

  1. Rasam is spicy and is always served hot enough that the steam hits your nostrils with the aromas of the dish. A good rasam is one that makes you nose leak after you eat/drink it. Hence, it is an amazing remedy for blocked sinuses more powerful than steam inhalation or Vicks Vaporub.
  2. If you are cold and don’t have a heater to hug, a mug of hot rasam will fix you right up.
  3. Avoid rasam if you have any stomach upsets because the spice will only make it worse.
